third culture individuals learn to traffic in narrative quickly. our early memories are of standing out, of experimenting with explanation and with identity. my own fascination with narrative dates to my upbringing in kenya, east africa. since then, i’ve worked to develop visual and written styles saturated in narrative so that every photograph and every word, every video and every essay, is infused with story. the result, professionally, is a focus at the intersection of media production, communications, and administration. personally, it is a continual effort to improve as a word and image smith.
